				It's not every business that gets only 5 Star reviews, but I'm adding my 5 Star review here for the excellent work D & A Custom Painting did on the exterior of our multi-story home. In the 30 years we've lived here we've had the exterior painted at least 3 times. The previous painters did pretty slipshod work. Not Daniel! They prepped for a couple of days, pressure washing, caulking, filling, every crack and imperfection before they even put on a primer. The trim work, also was exceptional. They pressure washed the back deck which since it's on the north side of the house had considerable, lichen, etc growing. It looks brand new now after their pressure wash. I had planned to paint the front porch myself and told him to leave it off the estimate. He painted it anyway! In the end, the final price was less than the estimate based on lower cost of supplies. We couldn't be more pleased.

				I'm writing this review now as previously Daniel was only known by word of mouth...and I was one of the lucky ones to hear of him and "shared" him with others! I was referred to D&A Painting in 2000 and have used them ever since. They painted the interior and exterior of my 1100 sf home in the East Bay to perfection! They've also painted the exterior once and interior twice of my 5000 sf', 2 story home, with 30' vaulted ceilings in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Aptos to perfection as well. Daniel and his crew are beyond professional in addition to being incredibly honest, reasonable, knowledgeable, helpful and every other positive thing you'd want in a company that's coming into your home. Any areas that needed touch up or weren't done "quite right"... or ought I say, up to Daniel's expectations...was taken care of leaving my home looking beautiful. 				I first used D&A painting in 2014 and they did a superior job at very fair price. They also came with great recommendations. Earlier in 2014 Daniel the owner, a young man, had a stroke so he had some physical deficit but a very bright man that knows the painting business.This year 2020, I wanted the two sides that get the harsh sun evaluated and repaired as needed. Daniel came to evaluate and we walked the outside of the house together. His workers did a wonderful job. All of the house was power washed. All damaged areas repaired beautifully. Daniel came back at the end so we could walk the job again. There was a small area the workers had missed and Daniel had it finished immediately.
